Arabiat Egypt, the exclusive agent of the Korean brand KGM in Egypt, unveiled the updated Torres 2027 at an event held at the brand's centre in Obour, with the Comfort trim set at 1,650,000 EGP.

Key updates
The main technical change is the new eight-speed automatic gearbox, which replaces the previous six-speed unit. The engine is unchanged: a 1.5 liter turbo petrol with direct injection rated at 163 hp, while torque climbs to 300 Nm instead of 280 Nm, delivered between 2,000 and 3,500 rpm.
Inside the cabin, the updates cover a redesigned steering wheel and a reworked centre console, plus a new control unit for the gearbox. Phone mirroring is now available wirelessly, and two wireless charging pads are fitted to the Luxury and Black Edition trims.
